PROTON-18

The PROTON systems from IMG Stage Line set the limit which can be achieved regarding mobility, power capability and sound. The active 3-channel systems are equipped with high-performance speakers which allow highest volume levels at an absolutely professional level in cabinets as small as possible. The special highlight: the subwoofer serves as a case for the satellite speakers and cables during transport.

The largest PROTON system with an integrated 3-channel amplifier, active crossover network and limiter is even suitable for larger events with hundreds of guests due to the very high power reserves and the perfect speaker technology. It impresses by a really excellent bass reproduction without compression even in the absolute limit range. The integrated 46cm (18") bass speaker is simply the most powerful subwoofer of the IMG Stage Line product range. An extra high-quality 25cm bass-midrange speaker and a 25mm (1") horn tweeter each are used in the extra compact satellite speakers. The midrange speaker is equipped with the latest NEODYMIUM magnetic system. For transport and storage, the mid-high range speakers can be pushed into the subwoofer fitted with castors (partly with brakes). Even though, the high-quality system is not a lightweight due to the stability of the materials used, the storage dimensions of the complete PROTON-18 are surprisingly small. The black lacquered MDF cabinets impress by their elegant appearance and their functionality (handles and stand sleeves are perfectly integrated). The amplifier additionally features a temperature-controlled fan, balanced and unbalanced inputs and parallel outputs, a stereo/mono selector switch, a surround effect circuit for an enhanced auditory impression, a master volume control, a balance control for adjusting the volume between subwoofer and top parts as well as various LED indicators. The SPEAKON cables from the active subwoofer to the satellite speakers as well as the mains cable for the active subwoofer and a matching protective cover for the complete system are included in the delivery.
